The state usually provides an answer within 2 weeks (10 business days). However, sometimes it takes them longer.
If approved, how much money will I receive?
The state calculates payments based on past work history. Generally, persons receive up to 70% of their past income.
There is a cap on payments that change regularly.

The state pays every two weeks (after the first week of disability). Sometimes the payments are delayed.
How much time after I stop working do I have to submit a claim?
The state recommends you submit a claim inclusive of the doctor’s evaluation within 49 days. Claims outside of that time frame may also be approved.
Am I allowed to move out of state?

Can I be on unemployment while on disability?
No, you cannot be on unemployment and disability simultaneously.
